  • Monique Moffit is able to direct any questions about the Uniquely Texas video project or the work of the Texas Historical Commission to appropriate THC staff.

What is the Texas Historical Commission?
The Texas Historical Commission is the state agency for historic preservation. The agency administers a variety of programs to preserve the archeological, historical and cultural resources of Texas. Through the creation and promotion of heritage tourism in Texas, the THC heightens awareness of the importance of historic preservation while stimulating economic growth through tourism. This is accomplished by partnering the preservation community with the tourism industry and other key organizations at the local, state and national level and developing tourism programs that preserve, protect and promote historic and cultural resources.
